Building a Painting Easel

Every week I get together with a group of artists that work in ALL the mediums – painting, drawing and sculpture (3d and relief). With this small group we work on teaching each other and sharing art experiences, lessons, techniques and goals. We all have a mutual passion for art and we assist each other with frustration and success. The group is called AMORA or Artists Mentoring Other Representational Artists. This shared experience gives us the inspiration and motivation that we could not get independently or alone. This week I was in Bonnie Meschmaus ( bonnieschmaus.wordpress.com) woodworking studio and had the most amazing day creating a painting easel for our planned en plein air sessions this spring.

Very cool! I’ve been looking to buy these and they are pricey! This is just what I need – thanks for sharing!
